IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION

AGE GROUPS

14U • 13U • 12U • 11U • 10U • 9U

Age cutoff date: July 1, 2026

• For age classification purposes, an athlete's age is determined as of July 1, 2026.

  • For example, an athlete who is 14 on July 1 but turns 15 on July 4, 2026, still qualifies for the 14U division.

TEAM FORMATION

Team participation is contingent upon sufficient enrollment in each age division.

A minimum of 25registered athletes is required to field a Zion team in an age division for a Zion Experience. If an age division does not reach the minimum enrollment required to field a team, athletes registered through the MyZion portal will have two options:

• 1. PLAY UP: The athlete may participate with the next available Zion age division, subject to team availability and Zion Foundation approval.

  • Example: If Zion does not have enough registered athletes to field a 13U team, a 13U athlete may play up with the 14U team, if available and approved.

• 2. FUTURE ZION EXPERIENCE CREDIT: The athlete may apply their eligible registration payment as a credit toward a future Zion Experience, subject to the applicable requirements, availability, dates, and pricing.

  • Example: If Zion does not have enough registered athletes to field an 11U team, an 11U athlete may use the eligible payment as a credit toward a future Zion Experience. This may include the next experience, or the following year as 12U.

PARTICIPATION & SCHOLARSHIP NOTICE

• Zion Foundation reserves the right to make final determinations regarding age classification, team formation, placement, and participation.

• Playing time, preferred experience selection, team placement, scholarship awards, and other opportunities are not guaranteed.

• Completion of 3+ qualifying Zion Experiences provides a chance to earn DIAMOND Medallion Status and a potential Zion Alumni Scholarship. A scholarship is not guaranteed.

By registering, families acknowledge and agree that team formation is dependent upon minimum enrollment and that registration does not guarantee that a team will be fielded in the selected age division.
